This is most likely one of my favorite shots from the shoot with Beth on Saturday, although I don't include it in the set because it doesn't mesh well, with it's grain and film like tones. I just love the feel in this shot.

I took this the day I got my 5d mark ii in the mail. This are my two four legged children, Nemo and Comrade Fluffy. They're the most friendly(to each other) out of the bunch. Comrade had just pulled our window (dry erase)board off the wall, and shattered the center pane, we cleaned up and then everyone wanted to go out to the back porch to investigate.

Which image do you prefer?

There are so many different ways to edit a photo. It's our job as a photographer to choose wisely on what method we will choose for each shoot. Sometimes our own personal style of editing clashes with the shoot in particular. It can make their skin look bad, or blows the colours way out. There are so many problems you can encounter once you get home and upload the photos from the day, the hardest sometimes being that everything looks good. Ha!

Above are 6 images of my boyfriend. The first is the original, straight out of the camera, never been touched. It seems that the most common filter that people slap on top of an image these days is yellow, although I've been noticing a trending uprise of the blues. You also see a lot of contrast in photos these days, like the second image.

Out of all of these I still like the original image, SOOC. But my boyfriend loves film, adores it. So I went with a film effect for these particular images. The end image has a nice grainy feel to it, and nothing is blown out. This is an image that I would print out to give to his parents, it won't ever look bad framed sitting in their house.

Isn't he handsome? I think so too.

First time using the a film effect on an entire shoot. I met my friend Hilary to hang out for the weekend, and we went up to the Goat Farm in Atlanta and explored. Shot a few candids, and overall enjoyed ourselves.

Three hours, four bands, and a ton of friends. Macon's music scene is forever growing and touring bands come through often. The first two sets were from Memphis, the others from Atlanta and Macon. They were all great and so full of energy.

These guys are too adorable.

A.J. is a barista at the local Starbucks. He makes the best pumpkin spice, hands down.

One day I came in to get coffee and he if I could do a couples sessions with his girlfriend, Ashley, and him. I happily agreed, and had a blast walking around downtown Dublin with the two of them. They were such sports.

So I've known Brittany for a long time, and this photo shoot has been long overdue. Our schedules forever colliding in the most inopportune ways. We finally found ourselves available and jumped at the chance. Only to find that it would not be sunny in the least. Even with that small setback, I can confidently say we made it work, and these photos turned out great.

I had such a great time running around with these girls taking photos and goofing off for a solid 2 hours. They are so beautiful, inside and out. I can't wait to see them again sometime soon!

Manuel is probably one of the cutest kids that I know. His family is just as amazing as he is. I had so much fun taking shots at his birthday party. He's finally old enough to enjoy his party. Ripping apart paper, and pointing to who gave him which gift, and saying our names.

My family is amazing. They have always been there for me, and will probably always be there for me.

A day ago, my mother sent me a long(loving) text message, throwing in that I should go ahead and buy this beauty. That her and my uncle would help me out in getting it. I can't explain the feelings, but I am, and was so incredibly happy.

I feel that this will help better me in ways that I don't even expect yet.

Look what came in the mail yesterday!

Sorry for the cellphone shots, but I was so excited to have them.
They're absolutely gorgeous. I'm so glad that I chose the recycled materials. Makes me feel like I'm not littering when I hand these out to folks.

Going to be distributing these out to people and small businesses.

Say hello to my beautiful older sister, Rebekah Ketterman. I love her so much, and I've been wanting to take photos of her husband and her for so long. She's works the night shift in Macon as a nurse, so getting our schedules to line up can be very difficult. We had our annual family gathering this weekend, giving us enough time and excuses to get together and take some photos. Although we were hard pressed for time, and with the light fading, we were working again nature.

Even though no one was able to take themselves seriously(we're an easily amused family) I do believe that I managed to get some really good photos of the happy couple.

Floco Torres attempting "Like a Virgin."

This wedding was the sweetest, cutest, and most calming wedding I've been to in a long time. Eric and Heatherly love each other so much, it was wonderful to see them finally get married. The ceremony was in Washington Park, we all stood to watch them walk down to meet the pastor. China doll(Heatherly's italian greyhound) was even in the ceremony.

I'm so glad I brought my camera.

My dear friend, Caleb. we've known each other since I can remember. We always referred to each other as cousins since it seemed easier than explaining how we knew each other. Been wanting to take him out on a photo-shoot for awhile now. Time hasn't been on our side, our schedules colliding. We were able to meetup Friday, had an awesome time just getting to see him, and hanging out after we explored downtown.
